Migliorando l’elettronica e le capacità di registrazione del suo predecessore Mini Pro, la videocamera digitale per cinema URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 di Blackmagic Design offre un set di controlli ampliato e ancora più funzionalità. Il G2 introduce un sensore Super 35 4.6K aggiornato con 15 stop di gamma dinamica a 3200 ISO, registrazione con frame rate elevato fino a 300 fps e funzionalità di registrazione aggiuntive.

Innanzitutto, l’aggiunta di controlli esterni della fotocamera consente di accedere ai menu per modificare le impostazioni di esposizione, attivare il movimento lento/veloce o attivare la messa a fuoco assistita o altre funzioni. L’esterno della fotocamera è inoltre dotato di un pannello LCD monocromatico che mostra a colpo d’occhio i dati di scatto essenziali. Un’altra caratteristica professionale gradita è la ruota portafiltri ND (densità neutra) integrata. La rotella a quattro posizioni commuta tra due, quattro e sei stop di densità neutra, oltre a un filtro trasparente per nessuna riduzione dell’esposizione.
